SasuNaru Chapter 3-Why?

When Naruto and Kiba were walking to history Naruto noticed that Sasuke was following them.  Naruto, not knowing whether he hated Sasuke or not decided to ignore him.  When they got to history they sat down and of course Sasuke sat behind Naruto.  Every class was pretty much the same, they would walk in, Naruto would sit next to Kiba and Sasuke would sit behind Naruto.  All they did in the classes was getting a class orientation paper and talking about the class and what they’ll cover.  Finally, at the end of the school day, Naruto and Kiba were walking to their dorms when Hinata joined them.
“hey Hinata.”  They both said
“Hi guys.”  So the three of them were talking until they got to the dorms and said goodbye.  When Naruto got inside his he saw Sasuke on his computer doing something and that reminded Naruto to see if Suki was on.  Naruto logged on to AIM and he saw that Suki was on.
-Hey Suki i'm sorry about yesterday…. I don’t know what happened-
-oh no don’t worry about it I was just kind of sad because its hard moving somewhere new….then when you asked me about a relationship I remembered him and all the good times we had and it made me cry-
-well I’m sorry… do you want me to make it up to you?-
-well I do want to finish that picnic we started it was really nice-
-Ok do you want to meet at the academy in 20 minutes?-
-Sure ill meet you there-
-ahisukchui has logged off-  Naruto, again put on another semi-tight shirt and got the food ready.  When he left he noticed that Sasuke was gone but a part of him didn’t care.  He got to the academy and found Suki with a short black dress.  Naruto couldn’t stop staring at her; he got out of his car went up to Suki and said
“Are you ready?”
“Yeah, let’s go.”  Naruto and Suki got into the car and headed for the park, when they got there they went to the same spot under some trees near a bridge.  They started eating and Suki started asking Naruto questions.
“So you are straight right?”
“Sort of….i’m Bi.”
“Ok that’s cool; did you have any other relationships before?”
“Yeah I had a boyfriend and I went out with a few girls.”
“What do you look for in a girl and boy?”
“Honesty, trustworthiness, loyalty, nice, a sense of humor, pretty, happy about life, and cleanliness.  Pretty much everything that you are.”  Naruto said grinning.  Naruto moved in to kiss Suki but she stopped him.  Her eyes were starting to tear up again when she said.
“I’m sorry Naruto.”
“No.”  He said moving back “it’s my fault for getting to eager.”
“It’s not that it’s just that…..”
“What is it?”
“I’m sorry I’m not who you think I am.”
“Then who are you?”
“I’m……Your best friend.”  Suki disappeared in a cloud of smoke and there sat Sasuke, sobbing because he had lied to Naruto.
“Sasuke…….why?”
“I loved you too much to let you go.”
“Then why did you come and try to kill me?”
“Orochimaru forced me to or else he would kill me.  I didn’t even try to kill you though; I couldn’t live with myself even if I did.  I’m sorry…”  Then Sasuke got up and jumped into the river trying to drown himself.  He started to drink the water and his eyesight started growing dimmer until everything went black.

Later that night-

“Sasuke…….Sasuke why?”  Naruto said as Sasuke started opening his eyes.  Naruto had Sasuke on his lap when Sasuke looked up with sad look in his eyes.
“I’d rather not live than have you hate me” Sasuke said quietly.
“Don’t say that……Truthfully I’ve always loved you, deep inside I’ve had feelings of love for you.”
“Really?”
“Of course that’s why I didn’t let you kill yourself…….No one deservers to be punished that bad for a simple mistake.”
“Are….. You….. forgiving me?”
“Yup….”  Naruto leaned down and gave Sasuke a kiss.
“Thank you Naruto.”  Naruto smiled as he got up with Sasuke in his arms and then put him down on his bed.
“Scoot over,” Naruto said.  Sasuke moved over and Naruto lay down next to him.  Sasuke put his arms around Naruto and said
“I love you Naruto.”
“I love you too Sasuke.”  They both fell asleep with smiles on their faces.
